Everything you need to understand your codebase
Multi-language dependency analysis that works the moment you paste a URL.
10 languages, one view
snarlmap parses your codebase natively — no plugins, no configuration. Drop in any supported project and see a unified dependency graph spanning every language in your repo.
- ✓AST-based parsing for Python, pattern-based (regex) parsing for the other languages, so unusual dynamic imports can be missed
- ✓Mixed-language monorepos work out of the box
- ✓Language stats and file distribution built in
GitHub-native. Public and private.
Sign in with GitHub once to analyse your private repos. GitHub only offers a broad `repo` scope for this; snarlmap only ever reads. Repository files are held in a temporary folder while they are parsed, then deleted; the resulting graph is cached for 10 minutes.
- ✓OAuth 2.0 sign-in (read:user, user:email, repo)
- ✓Private repos are marked with a lock in repo search
- ✓Your GitHub token stays on the server, never in the browser
Interactive 3D dependency graph
Orbit, zoom and fly through your codebase in 3D. Click a node to focus it and light up its neighborhood, with a link to open the file on GitHub. Switch between force, hierarchy and radial layouts.
- ✓Node types: logic (green), UI (blue), assets (pink)
- ✓Click highlights direct dependencies + dependents
- ✓Export the current view as a PNG for documentation
One-click analysis. No setup.
Paste a GitHub URL or choose a local folder — snarlmap parses it and renders your graph. Secrets and credential files are filtered out on your device first. No local tooling to install.
- ✓Works from the browser, no CLI needed
- ✓GitHub results are cached for 10 minutes, so re-loading is instant
- ✓Local folders are filtered and redacted in your browser before upload

CI and automation today, team features later
Create an API key and run scans and SBOM exports from CI with the GitHub Action. Shared history, annotations and Slack alerts for teams are planned and not available yet.
- ✓API keys (Settings → API keys) and a GitHub Action for CI
- ✓Planned: shared history and annotations
- ✓Planned: Slack alerts for new CVEs
