We believe code should be legible
As codebases grow, the mental model that made them understandable quietly dissolves. We're building the tool that restores it.
Every engineer has felt it: you join a project, open the repo, and can't figure out where anything is or how the pieces connect. You spend the first week reading files at random, chasing imports, and asking "why does this call that?" in Slack.
snarlmap started as an internal tool to answer that question visually. We built a parser that walked any directory, extracted imports, and rendered a graph. Engineers at our previous company used it on day one of every onboarding. We decided the rest of the world needed it too.

What we value
Honesty
We say plainly what snarlmap does today, what is still planned, and exactly how your data is handled.
Speed
No cloning, no polling, no setup steps.
Simplicity
One URL in, one graph out. Complexity lives in the implementation, not the interface.
